Getting to know Silvano

  1. What’s your favourite way to spend a day off? Enjoying time with the kids, coaching, and playing soccer, or spending time cooking and trying new recipes with my wife. We love to travel so our holidays are usually centred around trips.
  2. Most memorable concert? U2 Dublin 2009. Being a lifelong U2 fan, a friend of mine and I decided to see U2 play their hometown gigs. We had just graduated University and this was our last “hurrah” before we started our careers. So, we set off to Dublin, Ireland for a week. We had general admission tickets. We spent 2 days in line outside the stadium to guarantee a good spot. We ended having front row, feet away from the band. 100,000 people. It was one of the greatest nights of my life.
  3. Favourite sports team? AS Roma. We moved from Rome to Canada when I was five, thus my favourite soccer team is AS Roma (the local club in Rome). In addition, I'm a Maple Leafs fan!
  4. Most memorable travel experience? Having dinner in the Nobel Banquet Hall in Stockholm, Sweden as part of an educational IG conference in 2018. The same room where the Nobel Prize is awarded annually.

Getting to know Marcie

  1. Coffee or tea person? Tea, always tea!
  2. Most memorable concert? Tie between Bette Midler, Toronto 2015 and Red Hot Chili Peppers, Glasgow 2007. For Glasgow I happened to be in the right place at the right time to score a free ticket and as it turned out I was 40 feet from the band! I still have the ticket stub too!
  3. My perfect day? If it’s summer I love to have a full day relaxing at the beach. We’ll pack a massive picnic and my portable BBQ, the hammock and other seating for the shade, at least 1 book, noodles or other flotation items, and spend the day in and out of the water.
  4. What’s your favourite dessert? Ice cream cake.

She is happily married to her husband Marc for 31 years and when she is not at the office, she can be found in her art studio or the garage creating her next project.

Getting to know Tammy:

  1. Coffee or tea Person? Coffee, can’t start my day without it.
  2. What do you like to do in your time off? Spending time creating. I would have to describe myself as a multi-medium artist.  I like to paint on a variety of surfaces, from canvas to wood to rocks. Also spending time in the garage cutting and sanding wood for the next idea or relaxing on the couch crocheting. If I see something I like and think I can make it.  I would rather make it than buy it.
  3. On Sunday mornings,  you can usually find me …? On the couch with a coffee, crocheting while watching HGTV.
  4. What is something – big or small – that I am really bad it? Cake decorating.  For a person who is an artist, one might think that is something I could do. Nope, I have made some pretty hideous cakes for our boys as they grew up. Thankfully for boys, all they cared about was that they had cake, not what it looked like.
